This screw-on connector with 1/2″ Female thread and 3/8″ plug connection is a particularly convenient and time-saving solution for connecting CO₂ or beverage hoses to pressure-carrying components such as pressure reducers, distributors or devices with 1/2″ male threads.

It is ideal for connecting hoses with an inner diameter of 6.7 mm and an outer diameter of 9.5 mm, which are frequently used in beverage technology for CO₂ or soft drink lines.

• Connection side 2: Plug connection for 3/8″ hoses (corresponds to 9.5 mm OD)

Notes on assembly and disassembly:

✔ Assembly (insert hose):

1. Prepare the hose:
   Cut the end of the hose absolutely straight (no bevel cut!).
   Only a cleanly cut hose guarantees a tight connection.

2. Insert:
   Insert the hose end straight and fully into the plug connection with slight pressure until you feel resistance.
   The hose locks into place – a slight pull test shows that it is securely fixed.

❗ Disassembly (detaching the hose):

1. Depressurize:
   Ensure that the line is depressurized (e.g., shut off CO₂ and vent) before removing the hose.

2. Unlock:
   Press the small plastic ring (release lever) located around the plug connection evenly inwards – towards the connector.

3. Pull:
   Hold the ring pressed and pull the hose straight out at the same time.
   The hose comes off without tools.
